Hi all i have a set of 17" Avus alloys on my car all with good pirelli p zeros,

However they are curbed, so would like them all refurbed, does any1 know how much i would be looking for a good job for these, and if so would you get them same colour or maybe a tad darker, on a ming blue car,

OR

Would you buy some different wheels even though i like the avus, if i changed would have to be 18's and then i would need 4 new tires, so cost woud be alot i think,

Im not sure if i will keep my car for another year or not at the mo,So if i sold prehaps the orginal wheels would be better suited to the car? so not too sure what to do, i like the 18 avus, but unsure how much these would cost even secondhand and i also like rst and the ones vorheers has nuvi something, What would you guys do? cheers Oski

I was in a similar dilema to you, however I needed new tyres also. So I paid for some 2nd hand OEM RSTTs, had them refurbed and put new rubber one. After selling the original Avus 17s it worked out roughly the same had I kept the originals and had them refurbed and new rubber.

Hi mate do you how much currently i would be looking for a for a very good 2nd hand set of oem rstts with tires, i have not got a clue cheers

the wheel specialists..went there the other day, they said itd cost £350 for a touch up, get out some light curbing and get them new again then spraying them smoked chrome, same as whats on the m3's or for a basic colour, £300, or if its just a touch up probally looking at around £150 or something.

For a good clean set with tyres I would say around the £350 mark, it really depends how 'clean' they are, tyre depths etc.

Im in exactly the same position mate. You can drop them off at spit and polish which isn't to far from Essex. My mate dropped his BMW 17" off there and they were £180 for all 4 fully refurbed.

The wheel specialists did mine, good finish etc and fast turn around.
