Boot Liner - waterproof/durable

I need a liner to sit in my rear (ooh'er!) to keep water/product etc (car detailing..) from seeping through.

I've got a halfords plastics thing £10 special at the moment but my flooring unit is getting a bit damp.

I've taken a look at the EBaY units but, has anyone every used/brought/had one of these before?

As said, it needs to be waterproof, hard wearing and well fitting. My cars the B6 A4 Avant on a '53 plate.

any help much appreciated.

I've had a rubber 'Ebay special' in the boot of my Avant for well over a year and I would recommend them to everyone! My boot is always full of sand, mud and grass from my hobbies, I have also spilt a litre of milk on it before. Underneath the mat is still perfectly clean.

THIS is what my bootliner looked like as new. I cut it to size so that it goes up at the sides around 2" and also up the rear seat about 2". Piece of **** to cut along the grooves with scissors. The middle part that looks like the shape of a pair of boxer shorts has a raised edge so would easily contain any liquid

When its knackered I will deffinately be getting another.

Can't advise on the seller front, can't remember the details for the one I bought.

I had the genuine audi one in my B5 A4 avant and it was a godsend, the audi ones are a sturdy plastic with a 4 inch lip around three sides to stop dirt/sand etc slipping down the sides onto the carpet....

There are three different types the one I got from leisureshack off ebay would be like the semi-rigid one.

I had the Audi OEM one, bought from dealers for £36 i think, it is like 3mm neoprene and has a slight lip the whole way round, it was dead handy for the dog hairs, just lift it out and shake it..

I have technics100 A4 now with the boot liner and its brilliant, I throw the mountain bike and all my stuff in the boot, with the weather lately its usually soaking at the end of a spin and the cover just holds the water and muck till I tip it into the garden, perfect

I've got a B6 salloon one for sale. Genuine audi, raised edges etc. Cutover for tie down hooks but these are raised also to protect from spills.

Not sure if Avant is the same size or not.
