i believe these can be bought seperate from the exhaust,
do i need to get them from the stealers or is there anywhere else i can get them?
my own ones are starting to look a little tatty!
thanks

Looking tatty as in getting sooted up? Get some metal polish and a brillo pad then scrub lol. They are stainless steel so will come up a treat!

I will have a S3 back box for sale soon, very good condition tail pipes!

i want new ones!
cant be doing with all that elbow grease!

You're a silly man!!

Seriously, save yourself £60/80 and get yourself some metal polish. Try not to let them get thickened in crap in the first place. A weekly wipe, and they'll stay shiney for much much longer. If you let the rubbish cake on, then thats when you have troubles.

Take this Mazda RX8 I worked on for instance..

Autosol/Metal Polish, Wire-wool, ELBOW GREASE (be a man.. ;)) and the odd kitchen sponge/brillo pad.

Sorted.

If you didn't live so damned far away, I'd gladly do it for you.

Let us know how you get on.

I'll drive it down LOL
i'll attack it at the weekend!
it was the previous owner who has neglected it, I've only had it 2 weeks now.
I'll post pics of my result!

Chris, i ended up using Autosol and rubbing this in with 3 different grades of wire wool, took about an hour or so, always clean it with my wheel mit every wash to make sure it doesnt get like that again:photo:

I've stole some green scouring pads from work, and have some autosol in the garden shed - so weekend plan - attack!
