Number plates

I prefer pads too, but had to use screws on the front of my D3 as well.
Too much of a curve on it to rely on pads alone, unfortunately.

My A3 came with personal plates made by the dealer as well, but they got binned.
I really don't like dealer details on a plate.
I usually remove dealer stickers too, I just don't see why I should advertise them FOC.

I've added "Are useless inbred moron's" below the dealer insignia on mine, which is actually on a rather cheap piece of plastic that the number plate is stuck to

I like to think I'm doing my bit for their advertising

How are you able to get showplates now?
Their sale was made illegal a couple of weeks back, wasn't it?
Their use has always been illegal on the roads, but the manufacturers got around that by making you sign a disclaimer.
No such loophole now, their sale is illegal uder any circumstance.
I'm fully aware these will be the last illegal plates I can get.
