Q3 Q3 F3 ( VCDS Activations ) ???

Hi Folks.

Anybody here was able to code any feature on your AUDI Q3 F3?.

I tried to configure wireless carplay on my MS2P but its impossible, I also tried to enable the Sport Layout.... impossible too.

MMI needs to be correct software level or over for Wireless CarPlay. Sport Layout not possible gen2 cockpits via OBD11 etc

I tried to activate wireless carplay but for MS2P seems to be impossible because it doesn't have Wifi 5ghz,

I could not activate any basic feature on this car.

Suggest you visit someone who has the coding tools and knowledge to assist you.

all the fecs on the MS2P are enabled, but nothing works, because as a lot of people said it's just a color radio.

I read a lot of post like this one around many forums to try to learn if anybody was able to achieve at least one common mod but up to know nothing works.

With respect while I understand the desire to learn and do things yourself, if you really want these modifications and cannot find the information then I would suggest visiting someone who knows how to use their tools in order to code what you would like.

mmm, I know you probably sell those settings, i didn't found information on any forum for my modules, I found a lot of information for other Q3 F3 modules... so having into consideration you are a genius who don't want to share information, what are the mods you are able to do on a Q3 F3 with MS2P and digital cockpit.

Am a registered business and this is how I put food on the table. Check my signature, lots of media posted in my forum section and my social media.

Bottom line is coding mods are possible on your vehicle which is based in the MQB platform, from needle sweep to wireless CarPlay, it’s all possible.

Sports layout / display cannot be “coded” with VCDS and alike I am afraid. It’s why I keep telling you to visit someone with the correct tools and knowledge. Not really sure what else to tell you.

@DJAlix thanks for your answers, here, in Argentina, its really hard to find parts or specialized people, Audi for example is not able to sell extra features like (tech pack, dynamic leds, lane assist....)

So what I'm trying to do is analyze how can I add those using best practices and no the Chinese ones.

same in many other countries also, and it’s why this business is so competitive. So many new people and companies have popped up over the past few years!

Problem is the information related to retrofitting or coding anything on newer vehicles today is valuable. Lots of people out there looking to monetise information from forums and alike because they don’t have the brains or resources to figure things out for themselves! Lots of illegal software sales to facilitate it also.

Taking the vehicle to a “specialist” is no issue. They complete the works while you have a coffee or two and you pay them. Looking to have the works done or seeking help “remotely” is the issue here as information would need to be shared, that and you would need to invest in the correct tools etc. You might say “no problem I will pay” but once information is released it’s in the wild and there is no real control over it, and that’s a problem for people like myself who have researched and invested time and money in order to be able to deliver a service. Back in the day when I used to share something here it would be offered as a paid service by a number of so called “professionals” a few days later

Is VIM possible to be activated with VCDS or ODIS? 2021 US car

No. Different tools are needed and what’s possible depends on the MMI

It's a bit hard for me to grasp that OBD11 can do it and ODIS can not, although it's the dealer level tool....
How about VCP?
