Abs sensor

Hi all, recently changed my faulty abs sensor and I’m still getting the light come on, does anybody know if I need to plug it in anc clear the code or?

Have you checked the stator on the hub, mine was corroded and had to change both, it will need resetting too from what I can remember

yeah that looked fine to be honest, but still coming up with code
 
As above I had to change both as it had swollen

Was the tip of the oldsensor damaged at all?

It might have been yeah

If the tip was damaged then the likely cause would be corrosion on the ABS stator as the gap between the two is only millimetres
