Upgraded washer jets

My washer jets are blocked/gunked up or whatever and no longer squirt any water, I could try and clean them but like the idea of swapping out for the fan style. I've seen the Passat b6 1s fit but some say need a washer as well? I've got the part number 5M0955985C9B9 assuming that is correct? Can anyone confirm if it's a direct swap or if anything needs to be done?

Facelift don't need the spacer, pfl do
part number for spacer and you need two 8E0 955 431

Didn't need any spacer on an 04 & 05, maybe something is different but mine were direct fit no issues except maybe extending the wiring a little.

Plenum cover may have changed slightly, which from my recollection that maybe it.
