small crack in sump

Anyone got any easy / cheap ideas on how to fix?

bloddy put hole again.........

strange but i was driving though suningdale the other day and most of there roads are as smooth as a babies bum! yet in reading they are crap and full of holes...

guess the poss area's get looked after. wouldnt want the bently to hit a pot hole.....

How much is it for a new sump?

Would that not be the best fix?

AFAIK a sump is about 80 quid, i have no idea how much hassle is involved to change one though

i think the sump on my 1.8t cost me about £135 when i ripped it off a year ago.....
