Car is at the dealers and registered! They’ve managed to get it on the 22 plate, so collection is next Tuesday 1st March. Woohoo! 8 months to the day from order to collection.

It was meant to be week 3, but ended up being week 4. Yours should arrive any day now, if it hasn’t already.
Looks mint I was told the puddle lights will be in the glovebox and i have to fit them
Thanks. It’s going in for its ceramic coat and new car detail tomorrow. It’s hit and miss with the lights, but I’ve been told they have taken them off the standard list and added them to the options list. So making more money off you. They were however standard when I ordered the car in June but still didn’t come with them. I’ve already got hold of some and fitted them anyway. I’m waiting on 2 more coming tomorrow to do the rear doors.
Ye I gave been following your posts as you ordered like a month before me . I'll be a bit gutted if the lights aren't there but it's not major just expect them as they was ment to be . I just want to mess with it xx
It’s madness as your spec is similar to mine… Ordered in the last week of June and it arrived at the dealers this week.

That's good to hear.... I get the impression that the communication between the factory and the dealership is really poor.... so the dealers really have no clue on the progress being made in the car build phase
I agree, my original build week was 3, I asked for an update in week 4, dealer said it wasn’t showing as built. Then the following day it was at Emden awaiting a boat
I managed to get 4 genuine Audi ones off eBay for £80. Unfortunate that I had to pay but it’s still lots cheaper than buying from Audi direct for around £110 for a set of 2. Hopefully yours comes with them to save you some cash. I also removed the A3 and other badging and changed the rings to black. Got a set of personal plates to go on soon as well once the Dvla have processed my retention document. My cars with the detailing company currently so I’m back in the company car ( Manual, diesel VW people carrier)
I was just about to ask you the sizing you got for the black rings as I've gone with same as u but turbo blue. The trim bits are black but the rings chrome .
I went for the genuine Audi Rings, they are more expensive but I’d rather them than the cheap eBay versions that are everywhere. I’ve put in the link to where I got them > A3 Black Rings

Im also leasing. Ive got next tuesday booked for delivery by audi. Ive not been given a registration yet. I got told theres still paperwork to be sorted but were optimistic itll be all gd for next tuesday! Im still waiting to pay my initial rental. Have u been given a registration yet from your lease company?
Same here - first automatic! Cannot wait. It’ll make the morning commute a breezeDealer said possibly 3rd week of march but I think maybe more April as it's all been longer than he's said.
I've been considering ceramic coating as if it makes cleaning easier I'm all for it .
I'm SO excited it's stupid just ordered some protection film for the glass and center console because the dogs will scratch it and a few little accessories, thanks for the link I'll go over now.
I can't lie after so long I'm nervous about driving I've swapped and ordered an automatic so whole new experience as well but I really miss driving and freedom of just popping for a cuppa. I live in a village so it's 25+ min drive to see anybody I like

I’m just being optimistic my car will be here shortly as cars similar spec and time of order appear to be filtering through. This is confirmed by the lease company that cars with C+S are coming through. I have no confirmation for delivery so no Reg yet. good luck hope all goes to plan for you.

My dealers have advised it will be built week 15 which is first week of April so should see the car in may fingers crossed
I hope it goes to plan. My daughters A3 was built 1st week in December. It is still at the factory awaiting a semiconductor. Almost 3 x months down the line and Audi can't/ won't provide an update.
My best mate told me last time to get an automatic but I didn't listen

It’s cost £330 with PPF on the B pillars. That included a stage 1 polish before applying the ceramic coat. It was actually shocking how bad it was for a new car under the specialist light. The images of the wing mirror are before and after which the detailer sent me. The car hadn’t been cleaned since collection 2 weeks ago.
I’m finding it great, still getting use to it as this is my first auto in a car of my own. It’s very smooth from my opinion but overall I love the car and it was 100% worth the wait.
