Spotted these 3 this evening near Dunfermline.

Back when I was young a certain and renowned motoring wordsmith John Bolster proclaimed "Every home should have one!" See: https://www.classicandsportscar.com/features/buyers-guide-lotus-elan-1963-74
Motorsport legend DSJ (Denis S. Jenkinson) had to search deep for the superlatives when he made the 1650 mile journey from Cheshunt to Sicily noting "The way the Elan would squirt out of corners and straight-line ‘ess' bends was most impressive, uneven and bumpy roads not worrying at all".
Had our Lotus for 37-years so can well appreciate a Lotus gathering in Dunfirmline if only to exercise on superb tarmac:
