Yes disable the egr , so simple , with engine off remove egr ( metal hat ) vac line and plug with bolt the vac line , this disables the egr and it remains closed .
Enjoy the earlier turbo spool as all the exhaust gasses are used to spool it .
And engine oil cleaner for longer , if you suck out the oil cooler below the oil filter housing . Topside vacuume oil extraction is King and easy .
