Hi everyone... I'm going a ko4 conversion on my quattro ... ary engine... do I need to change the intake manifold? I have another one however I have looked at a lot of build threads on the agu head and they haven't changed the manifold ... will I gain anything from changing it

Thanks Matt

Nope... Other than a different way to route the pipework if you prefer...

Thanks ... I didn't think there was any difference... just seems like loads of hassel we routing the piping

Depends on your approach... its a little easier a route on the throttle body if you were doing custom pipes using the S3 inlet... most after market inlets are battery side too as there is more room...

No performance benefit from the swap in context of what you are doing though... std inlets (both S3 and A3) have been used for 400hp builds in the past but I have seen gains swapping to a larger inlet (plenum size more than anything) at that level of power so you will be fine with a K04
