Is anyone running different tyre sizes on their S4 B9?

The standard 245/35/19 seem to be expensive with my preferred Pilot Sport's coming in at £200 per corner!

I’ve not done it but I’d imagine you could get away with 255/35/19’s without throwing your speedo out much. I don’t know if you’d then experience any of the tram-lining issues like experienced in the B8/8.5 if you play with the size though....

Thanks for the link, interesting site.

I do much prefer Michelin Pilot Sport's even at the expense of a few less miles.... they are the stickiest rubber out there!

No problem. I remember back in the day used to use Yokohama tyres on my old Mk2 Astragte 16V. They used to stick pretty well
Not in the same league as Michelin though
 
Yokohama 105s are on a par with Michelin's compound but have a stiffer sidewall (Not really difficult). Slightly sharper turn in and cheaper too.
