Link to the Chinese one?
Did you check to see if powerflex do them? Problem with 034 is you are paying extra for the import tax from the USA that Awesome add!I thought a bit pricy too but the pack covers the gearbox and the diff mounts too. The china one saves £60 on the 034 gearbox part, I don't know if you can get the diff mounts from china, but as a pack, and known quality I thought 034.
Not me. I still have no **** idea what you are all complaining about. My gearbox is smooth and I don't feel any shunt in the transmission (and I did on my B5 S4 so had a drivetrain stabiliser fitted). I must have taken the blue pill...Believe we all have done it.
They spent a few years researching the DSG box itself and didn’t get that quite right first time.Ditto not done mine, I do question why would you fill a void that Audi design spent years researching...
No, you haven’t taken a pill, blue or any other colour. Everyone perceives things differently. Not me. I still have no **** idea what you are all complaining about. Hi Dippy, you may not have a clunk or slop on shifts but this is something that was there and now, with the 034 mounts, is not, so to those that have a slop, the 034 remains a thumbs up.Not me. I am hopefully with Mark Friday this week to get the discs/pads replaced. You are more than welcome to come and experience it yourself.

Hi meph, 034 and powerflex describe it as a ‘slop’ or something equally ‘not firm’. After having the mounts fitted, gearbox and diff,I’d say it just tightens up the transmission, especially when driving in sport/manual.I'm interested in this as well - I've never felt this slop or shunt people refer to, although as I'm an idiot who throws money at things I bought the china void filling bracket thing but haven't fitted it yet. Can anyone describe what this slop or shunt is? The only thing I notice is that reverse can take a bit of time to engage (a second maybe), everything else feels normal to me.

I know, Dippy. My tongue was firmly in my cheek when wrote that, just as I’d imagined yours to have been when you were encouraging @meph137 to fit the insert. Sadly, there isn’t an emoji face for that.Jeff, as I already stated I feel that my transmission is fine and doesn't need improvement. I'm not going to do the mod just because it is popular. Plus there are potential downsides:
1) Another mod to declare to my insurer and I'd prefer to not do that in between renewal.
2) Given the history of the DL501 I don't want to mess with it. Given my public comments on risk, you'll likely understand what I think about the matter.
