Had a mechanic run a diagnostic on my car

2.0 tdi 8p bkd

Came back showing i need 1 glow plug replacing so ive decided to replace all four. Ive looked on eurocarparts for the plugs and 2 different types are showing up (both bosch).

Is there something i need to look out for when purchasing? How do i know which set i need?

Just looked at car parts for less, same as ECP but usually cheaper. If you click on the view detail tab it lists the engine options. I would go for Beru items as they are usually the same as the OE plugs.

Just spotted previous post. Carparts4less is the on line trading part of ECP, so identical parts but usually always cheaper, but it's delivery only as they don't support the shops.

Beru are OEM suppliers of glow plugs and I renewed mine last year on my BKD -engined A3.
I bought mine via eBay and IIRC cost about £43 delivered for all 4 plugs.
When I took the 2006 factory -fitted Beru glow plugs out they were identical in almost every way to the ones I put back in , the only difference being that the eBay ones didn't have the Genuine part number stamped on them.

check on ECP before buying - they have a 1/3rd off offer on atm
