hi guys I was wondering if any of you had a superchips remap, had one on my Vectra vxr and couldn't fault it,i know a lot of people rate revo but there double the price of superchips.
Unicorn motor developments in Stockport have a very good reputation and are tried and tested.
A map is something that really shouldn't be skimped on, things can go very wrong very quickly!
New to all this remapping/tuning malarky, and looking for my first S4 Avant. Can a 2015 S4 Avant be remapped by the likes of MRC, Revo now? From reading previous threads on mapping it sounded like the newer B8's could not be tuned/mapped. When I eventually find the dream car I'm unlikely to do anything immediately, but having experienced first hand the power and silky drive of @Tashfeen 's glorious S4 saloon I may find myself doing some modification sooner than I had thought!!
I do and I'm stage 2, although my map isn't yet available commercially as far as I know If you want a walk-in solution at the moment, it's MRC, Unicorn and someone else down south who I can't remember as far as I know. Not checked with Revo recently...

Have Revo cracked the CREC engine then?
@Revo Steve-W Have you got a map for the CREC now ?
had my s4 remapped with a revo map on fri by STADT TECHNIC in Trafford park and cant fault them, sam ran us to Trafford centre and picked us back up when it was done, car was quick before its now really quick.thanks to revo steve for helping sort it out.

Just kidding, have fun with the remap bud. I am sure you're going to love the car after the map.
P.S. kidding about the ice bucket but not about keeping supercharger cool. That decrease in power has really hit me very hard

Team chav are always happy to help with the tried and tested cut your own holes in your bonnet system
Seriously started thinking about it now. Orders Carista ABD adapter and bought OBD Fusion to start monitoring. I am taking my time to looking at different options; Mercracing; APR and Revo chargercooler. More inclined towards APR but will see. I can be a pain when it comes to making a decision. Have a bit of a habit of overthinking . It is likely I am driving up north end of this month. Would be nice to see your beast if I did and you are around.

The revo cooler looks like the best quality of the big names.Looks like the cooler is bar and plate in the pics

About 6 months too late for me Steve. Also I wanted stage 2 and am not keen on the smaller supercharger pulley method.
@Tashfeen - you're probably the same as many of us in preferring to research thoroughly before making a decision. Have you been reading threads about uprating the charge cooler over on Audizine? If not it its worth doing so. There's a thread going at the moment discussing whether or not using an aftermarket pump might be stressing the supercharger intercoolers resulting in leaks.

You surprise me, I assumed that the pulley is the same diameter as previous engines. I estimated that mine was about 63mm by measuring the rim whilst on the car and then subtracting the belt thickness. I accept an error of perhaps 1mm either way, but if so that's not a huge difference. What have you measured it as?As for the CREC, this is a completely new engine, ECU, pulley each, all different and therefore fresh from scratch tuning, it already has a smaller SC pulley, much in the way we did on the earlier 3.0TFSi cars but now from factory, so in a way Audi have followed what we and others did on the previous 3.0TFSi supercharged engine.

Nevertheless my point is that there's a limit to how much smaller the supercharger pulley can be before belt slip is a risk. Whereas the crank pulley can be made larger to take the supercharger to even higher revs without any such risk. Then there's the additional risk of OE crank pulley failure so uprating the crank pulley can also mitigate this.
