May be a stupid one, but is it possible to fit aircon from a model that has aircon into a model that doesn't?

My a3 1.6 didn't come out the factory with it and it was just a random thought I had whilst cooking on a drive today...

Yes, but very labour intensive, the whole dash needs to come out , then you need, the dryer, pump, crank pulley, pipes, belt, rad and condenser pack, it would be easier to sell your car and buy one with air con.

While you're doing that, you could also upgrade to a 1.8T

Yeah that's what I was thinking!
It'll be an S3 next , the 1.6 is until my insurance drops
