boost gauge fitting

where do mst people fit a boost gauge? Im thinking Apillar pod but dont want it looking gash. std 52mm gauge btw.

A pillar gauges are for ricers, I'd put one in one of your vents :)

Olly have you got a link to a guage fit for vent in an A3 then as i am yet to find one...... got them for the A4 and Mk 4 golf . If you have a link somewhere can you post it up

I don't think anyone sells them for the a3. I would buy a gauge and modify a air vent myself.
 
yeah best thing to do is to buy a dremel and take it from there. If you mean the whole fitting process im not sure, ive not own an a3 so I would know how to take apart the dash or feed the wires etc, but I do know how to in an S4/RS4
 
will have a poke around the interior see if I can find a spot. I wanted a defi one but a bit over budget lol :p
 
nice and cheap & easy to install.. carnoisseur do one for 14.99 which is carbon fiber "look "covered or a plan black plastic one for a tenner.ive got a pictures from the catalog but i cant post pictures....

anywhere with the right drill bit :p

look near the ecu in the engine bay, that should be a good start
