hi does anyone know where to fit the boost line for a turbo boost gauge, people say fit it to the fuel pressure regulator but is it ok to do this? Where else can you fit it?

Ive fitted mine to the vac line of the diverter valve (smaller hose that comes off the top of the dv).

Feom what ive read this is the safest place to plum a boost gauge in.

T-piecing the fuel pressure regulator can cause a leak and make your engine run lean which is bad

Thank you for your advice. What sort of readings should I be getting (my gauge is BAR)

Depends what car mate and what state of tune.

Stock a3 about 0.4-0.5 bar. Stock s3 probably around 0.8-0.9 bar.

It's a stock 1.8T AUM 150bhp. Should it read -0.6 at idle and 0.5 on boost?

Mines a stock 1.8t aum lump but ive done the s2000 air filter mod and a forge 007 diverter valve.

my boost gauge reads 20 on vac on idle and peaks at 9 psi but holds at 8 psi on boost
