Steering angle sensor!!!

Hi guys.
So I have a steering angle sensor fault along with electrical module for the sensor.
This has knocked out everything on the steering column, indicators,paddles etc.
I can't reset it with Carista either.

Question is anyone had this and what's the fix? Expensive?

Funny the car seems smoother off the mark and round corners lol

Been to the garage and it was a communication error between the steering angle sensor and the module that controls it. My man reckons it's a disc behind the wheel where the wires are routed through
