Servotronic, esp fault after swapping rack

Having trouble after swapping the steering rack. Servotronic rack same part number except the very last letter (only one i could find online) all works as it should but get an esp fault. Anyone know how to recode the steering sensor? Thanks

I see this all the time. The last letter of a part number is important. Sometimes it just signifies a “revision” but other times it denotes features and may well be incorrect for your vehicle. You need to confirm if the part number you have fitted is actually compatible with your car.
 
The steeringis now so much more lighter and is definitely working, my dynamic & comfort modes seem to be working i just get the error code , sensor plugged in fine too
