I have installed a new body control module, for being able to retrofit the fog lights in a 8P 2012 facelift with the new type of module. The new type of module was a surprise for me as i have done this fog lights retrofit on my 2004 8P.
Fog lights and everything is working except the wireless key function, one key is working sometimes and sometimes not, I have tried to connect to the Convenience Module but vcds reacts like there are no module installed in the car.
Is the wireless key function moved to another module after 2010?
Does the new BCM need a new Convenience Module, or different wiring?
Does the newer cars need some type of more advanced adaptation?
