Facelift THE NEW AUDI A3 (2016 FACELIFT) – STILL AHEAD OF THE CURVE

What on a S3? Navarra Blue mate, Audi wouldn't do anything but a classy blue for the S3 it will have purple tones through it so it will change colour depending on the light,Daytona Grey is a exceptional colour in the sunlight but blue is my preference
lol the 2 colours i can't decide between! not making it easier :)

We've started to get some offers back from CarWow for a 1.0L A3 SB Sport for my partner. Ibis White isn't on Carwow so selected Glacier, but regardless best quote so far is 11.2% (including £500 contribution) from Huntingdon. Worst is £0 discount from I think it was Hitchin. They did offer the £500 deposit contribution though - how generous!

Did Orangewheels last night, but nothing back from them yet, and Drive The Deal doesn't seem to have the 1.0L A3 on yet.

We're looking at this small engine car to replace her 0.9L Fiat Punto Twinair. That's a pretty snappy car as it is, this should be snappier and hopefully more efficient too which is what matters at the moment for us! PCP on a 1.4COD would be about £30 more a month I reckon but the MPG may not be so good in the real world...

If the A1 is anything to go by, then the 1.4 will be a better bet than the 1.0. Simply down to better residual values.

I did an S3 sportback quote on Carwow and Hitchin came back at 0% discount for me as well. Don't think they get the idea of Carwow... lol

What do people think my chances would be of asking a dealer to do a Sepang Blue through the Audi Exclusive Colour but for the same price as a normal pearl colour paint instead of the £2500 or whatever it is for the exclusive?
Don't ask don't get..That's what I always say..If you really want the car then make a strong point to the salesman that it's a 'deal breaker' .I'm sure someone on here has had sepang blue as part of a new order deal?..

That would be me...but I'm getting it done as my car is being replaced ..and my last car was sepang and I wanted same colour...so they will go exclusive paint route for me

The guy in Hitchin was adamant he could order me an A3 there my spec the week after the ban came into force in March...

When my time comes I shall have to have a word with 'my sales guy' at Huntingdon Audi. He is the Specialist Sales Manager who sorts out all the CarWow prices as well as dealing with a few customers face to face, me included, because I have so far had nine A3s and they have all been purchased through him. I normally get a good trade-in price and discount and it may be even better this time if I decide to go for my first PCP. All I need know is for Audi to list what I want in the price lists!

Also on My Audi when checking through my S3 order found this.

Electric front seat adjustment driver´s seat with memory function

I haven't ordered Electric seats and my dealer has confirmed that it is not included in my options so are these standard.

It says this on my order too. I was actually gonna spec the electric seats and changed my mind. Im glad i changed it

Unfortunately i expect it to be wrong so not holding my breath :(

Just been to the dealer today and they had a sample panel of the Navarra Blue.

So I went round the showroom and compared it to all the blues they had, the closest colour was Estoril Blue, maybe a bit more of a purple tinge but very close.

So I guess Navarra blue will be the Scuba blue replacement then. Scuba and Estoril Blue have always been very similar.

Mate just ordered an S3 but was able to add the BSP option, this is what his order page looks like.

Impressive! Still can't see it on any configurators but good to see it should be an option. Did they order online or through a dealership? Any idea how much the option cost?

Nice one! Any info you can grab off him about BSP would be helpful, as not showing on configurator and my previous dealer said no word from his end about it yet but imagined it would come eventually..

For lineup purposes, yes. However, in terms of actual closeness in color, Navarra blue will end up being very similar as Scuba Blue (since this is very close to Estoril Blue). Not a bad thing for those want to have a less flasy (darker) blue S3.

Prefer the standard chrome grill if l am honest or maybe it's because dark blue doesn't suit the black styling package.
Like everything real photos will be far better

It was ordered at the dealer, so it must have been the factory order system. Not sure where he got the ZIE option code from.
Not sure of the cost, I will ask tomorrow.

Same here, I wasn't that concerned when I couldn't find the option.

Black styling package on the existing car cost £395 so expect it to cost a little more

Just checked his options list again and it looks like the code is 4ZD as it was on the PFL model.

He had ordered a PFL and the dealer just changed the colour and tech pack and replaced the order.
So looks like the option was left hanging, not sure if you can order it although it does show it on the car graphic.

But they only have to look through the window, see the engine start button and they'll know it has advanced key.

I know this, obviously... I'm talking about what equipment they are likely to arm themselves with for stealing different models.

It's a tiny chance you'll be affected full stop anyway. It's the same principle as all the news stories that eating X will increase your chance of getting disease Y by 500%... sounds scary, but if the chance in the first place was 0.0001% then it's not exactly a worry is it?

Maybe my taste is weird, black styling pack is always a must to me on any S3...I simply do not like the chrome at all. The chrome is more tolerable with darker colors, but black styling pack still looks better by my books.

This is the same mind set l had with the existing S3/A3, l just didn't like the plastic matt chrome effect, the new chrome grill looks real more money
if know what l mean and doing so looks far better, but that smiley face is best disguised by a dark paint

I agree that the new chrome grill being better than the old one, but IMHO I still prefer the black grill more on the S3. It just looks more like a shadowy sleeper car.

I also agree with the smiley face being best disguised by a dark paint. I think Navarra Blue will be excellent with the S3.

I'm simply quoting your words "For the A3, there's no guarantee that the car they plan to take has this system". If they know what they're doing (and I think one can assume these are not your casual 'try a door and see if it's open' type of thief) then looking through the window tells them all they need to know. I'm not commenting on whether a keyless car is or isn't easier to steal (I don't want to start THAT debate again) but just pointing out that it is blatantly obvious if an A3 has keyless entry.

New frontend and chrome grill (with Daytona) looks great IMHO.

Wow, that does look cheap and tacky, especially on an S3.

What a mess
Well that's your personal taste which we won't debate here! ;-)
Anyway that's why there are many colours and options so we can all get (more or less) what we want/like :)
I'm sure if Audi were to do a White Styling Pack or Fluo Green Pack or what not someone would spec it...
