Water in rear lights

I changed reverse bulbs today and when i undone the small flap on the saloon boot some water came out,am i right in saying that the seal around the light needs replacing

Have a search on the forum, I think there may be an issue with the rear light seals on the saloons.There have been a few posts.

Hi,

I had the exact same issue last month luckily still under warranty it was in Audi for 3 days water testing they found it to be the rubber boot liner letting water drain in and it needed a new vent in the rear light cluster. Fingers crossed been since hope this helps.
