I was thinking of gettn my audi a3 2.0tdi sportback 2009 decatted an remapd. Also i wanted to know if i go ahead with decat n remap wil ther b a little roar noise to it depending on what i do. Thnx
With the DPF removed there is definately a little more noise from the exhaust as it acts as a good silencer. If you are anywhere near Stockport I can recommend @Rick @ Unicorn Motor Dev. I had my DPF removed there and the car mapped. He is a forum sponsor who has mapped many forum users cars.
my mate runs his own custom shop. I had a straight pipe from the turbo to the rear, no boxes at all. sounded foooking awesome, the missus didn't agree tho
