Best fuel consumption / range on Audi A3 8P?

With all the environmentalists cursing cars these days, owners must be curious as to whether any diesel A3's ever have achieved mpg better than Audi official figures?
I found this pic on my phone and was from my last car - 1.6 tdi Sport 2010 and the economy was superb!! Not sure what the 1000 mile range equates to but it must be nearly 80mpg...?

Have no idea what my current TFSI does but I reckon between 400 - 500 miles..

My remapped 170 quattro at 215bhp has achieved around 650 miles on the motorway. pretty amazing from a 4wd car with decent bhp. best of both worlds with a high powered diesel

i get 440miles in town, 700miles on the motorway, tuned 2.0TDI from 2004 running Shell Nitro/ Power plus whatever diesel.

I usually get about 500 miles per tank, but I drive it quite hard often.

I dont have a computer in mines and my figures are calculated..

my 170PS gets about 400-450 miles per tank usually
but i do enjoy putting my foot to the floor

No.....

There is a slight disagreement between the new ECU and the databus,and it seems the signal sent to the DIS is the actual MPG x 4...LOL

The fuel gauge works fine though,but it is amusing,although I do wish it was true.
