****** physiotherapists are like "there's nothing wrong with you, the clicking in your knees is just trapped air". Trapped air.... trapped air? I though trapped air gave you stomach ache and made you fart, not make your knees hurt!

"No no you don't need surgery, you just need to keep paying me to give you exercises that make your knees even more painful"

Bitch, I just got the results of my mri scan, torn ligaments and damaged cartilage in both knees along with cyst under one knee cap. Yeah nothing wrong there then, surgery immanent to fix that non existent problem.

Oh ******, they are talking about me having a keyhole op! I have appointment with specialist to discuss soon

I've got all this to look forward to in later life! I've been active all my life, done Judo since I was 6 (25 now) and my body already has aches and cracks where it *probably* shouldn't! Hopefully the surgery will go well, keyhole normally goes better than most due to the skill of the surgeons that have to do it..

Thats not good!!!

My cousin recently had keyhole surgery on his knee, he was off work for 6 weeks afterwards!!!

I think keyhole is best, unlike me you NEED TO REST, don't go back to normal too soon, that was my mistake and I've paid for, take it easy and build up slowly. I was off work 2-3 weeks and bored to death, went back in and just got on with the job, these things happen when you're young and keen, know better now...

No worries on taking my time to get back to work. Quite happily sit my fat **** on the sofa watching top gear on Dave tv all day for weeks if required ;)

My young buck had keyhole surgery on this knee when he was 10 to remove part of his muniscus disc.6 weeks with a full lenght cast.not bother on him now.you'll be grand, enjoy the chill out time

Try an Acti-Patch. Absolutely brilliant.
My missus bought me one in January and it sorted my knee probs within two weeks. Doctor diagnosed miniscus damage and sent me for physio. It didn't work worth a s**t.
I do a lot of hill walking and mountain biking, it was the coming down off hills that shot my knee, the bike was always ok.

You can get these in Boots,
http://www.actipatch.com/products/actipatch-knee-pain-relief

They do work and I would never endorse anything I hadn't used myself.
;)

My backs knackered, yet many chiro appointments, physio, acupuncture etc... the docs still wont get me an mri, even though my works doc recommended it, all because i dont get pain down my leg.
I can completly agree at useless doctors.

Anyway. Hope all the opp goes alright dude. Just take it easy
