after market steering wheel fitting help

does anyone know where there is a how to guide to fit an aftermarket steering wheel?
i have what im lead to believe the correct hub but cant see how it fits once the oem wheel is removed
any heads up would be great thanks

yeh kind of
shows that im on the right tracks
but my hub has no where for the connector on the black shroud to go

does this mean it needs modding or have i got the wrong one??

No it should be all there I'm not sure myself and I'm doing this next week so I'll keep an eye out, ask @16Klappe he used the same part as you

Not the correct steering wheel boss at all.

That's a large spline VAG, for older VW's like Mk3's.

A B5 boss should fit yes, what you have there is a B3/Mk3/Jetta/Vento boss.

on the box is printed something like

mk4w
which is the same as whats in one of the links you provided when i asked about ordering it so im guessing its been packaged wrong

That's not the link I posted up the other week about bosses. That link was for one which came in a green box and was from China. That's where I got mine from.
