Camshaft Lamp

Hi all,

I was a bit bored at the weekend so finally got round to making a lamp out of my spare AEB 1.8t cams.
The hardcore VAG enthusiasts will notice I used the pulley off the Exhaust Cam but the Inlet Camshaft, I purposely did this just because the 12 lobes look much prettier!
After some polishing I'm quite pleased with the results. What do you guys think?

I read the title and decided you were on crack.

Never heard of a camshaft lamp before!

Then I opened the thread, and it all made sense

Really cool idea.

Did you drill it through for the cable? or it it just running up the back out of shot?

Haha the mrs doesn't mind it tbf, but it goes on my side of the bed lol.

Drilled the cam through so the wire tucks nicely out of sight

Piston and rod clock next me thinks...

you're a legend.
Ive got a set of pistons and rods, a couple of heads and some cams to make stuff out of.

Everytime i mention an engine block table my mrs strongly disagrees.
