Hi Audi-Sporters,
I'm trying to find the 'best looking' spacers for my facelift Audi A3 E-Tron Sportback over here, in The Netherlands.
I want to lower it this month, using Eibach Pro springs/kit. -30mm front and -35mm rear. So I guess this will be just a little lower than stock S-line height...
After lowering, I want to place spacers on the front- and rear wheels.
I have o.e.m. 18" S-line wheels (
8V0601025AM),
18",
7.5J ET51:
I understood that
10mm spacers (10mm on both sides) on the front, would look 'flush'.
Am I correct? (My Dunlop sport maxx rt tyres have big rim protectors)
And what about the rear? I read about
15mm (on both sides), but also about
20mm(on both sides) would look good/flush. What would you guys advice, looking at my stock 7.5J ET51 wheels?
Bought 4 (four!) x H&R 10mm spacers today, second hand, for a very good price (couldn't resist ;-) )
Going to install them on the front and try the other 2, stack on top of each other (so 20mm total) with longer bolts, on one rear side. No, not to drive(!), just to have al look at how 20mm looks at the rear.
- If it looks good, I sell the 2 10mm ones ( and keep the two on the front) and buy 20mm ones.
- If it looks bad/sticks out, I'm going to buy 15mm ones on the rear
The ones I bought are H&R Trak+ DR type spacers, partnummer
2055571
But I see they also sell
2055571A and
2055571B versions - > something to do with the INNER WHEEL BEVEL / OUTER SPACER BEVEL, which is different, like 4.0x45 degrees, 6.5x45 degrees or 7.0x45degrees?!?
What do our A3's need? I don't understand...
