Knocking when turning left or right over bumps

As the title really, when I turn a corner and hit a pot hole or bump at low speed I get a very metallic knock. Same kind of sound as a metal baseball bat makes when it hits the ball. Any ideas? I can't get the car on a ramp to have a good look for a few weeks.

Drop links, arb bushes, track rods or ball joints are the places to start really.

There are a few culprits, but those are common problem areas.

It's recently had new bottom arms, drop links and track rod ends so that leaves arb bushes

Do you know when the top mounts were last changed too?

They are still original. From 1998 and 152k old, probably a little worn

+1 for arb bushes

do a search on my threads for the one on arb bushes
the worn bushes allow the arb to hit the sub frame, hence the nice metallic noise
