You could try Sanburn Autos in the Midlands, they are a VAG dismantler. I bought an engine from them years ago and would do so again.

Cracked the sump with out realising and driving along next minute the engine cuts out with the oil light coming on. Put new sump oil n filter in car n it's tapping it's ****ing nuts off. Left it to warm up n it's still doing same tap tap tap.

Scaned it and it coming up with engine status sporadic communication error 1000?
Now at my garage waiting for him to have a look but I reckon engine is nackered.
defo need turbo
