I have a 2005 S line avant with DSG 7 speed.

I have just had the gearbox ECU replaced and ever since It hasn't felt right. Gear changes seem slower then they were in D mode an faster in Sport.

In manual shift I can only select upto 5th unless i switch to sport let it reach 7th then swap back.

Any help would be much appreciated. Im looking for an opinion before I send it back to the garage.

I did a search but couldnt find anything relevant.

Welcome to the site Dom.

TBH take it back to the installer, it should allow paddle changes in all gears as such, no point messing with tbh as its only just been fitted.

Thanks for the welcome. Was after some idea of what could be up, Dont like going into a garage 'blind' esp when something that was ment tobe sorted appears not to be.
