Wont know if it helps until we try! may delay returning the unit back to you by a week or so..


I was hoping someone might say it's worth it or not worth it.. It is claimed to reduce heat loss/transfer by upto 33%, which i wonder if that's good or bad on this type of turbo...IT would certainly keep the engine bay temps down, but might also raise EGTS as heat isn't being lost...

Only one way to find out ;-)

either way you'll be the 1st person to have on a hybrid, from me anyway..

Doug (Frankenturbo) likes his gear ceramic coated, not sure on the hot side though..
