Prop Shaft, Anyone Know what tool is used to disconect it from the transfer box??????

Dont i need a torx female socket for them but not the start ones the m classed ones?

I think i managed to undo them with just a socket

Yeah just use a standard double hex 10mm

10mm socket is what I use on a long 1/2" extension... you also need to use something (large screwdriver or similar) to stop the prop turning while you do it... 3 x bolts as previously mentioned

Thought it was a female torx drive socket????
Think it can be done with a 10mm multi point socket but the proper tool is a torx......

No it's not a Torx

10mm 12 point socket without a doubt. Do it from above with the tip removed, its a doddle.

I used a 3/8" ratchet and moved the car back and forward to turn the prop and get access.
