Car wont run.

My a4 1.8t won't idle. Just revs up, coughs and spluts and turns off. I can rev it but lumpy. Air mass sensor?

coil pack gone?

Do you have an option of scanning it with VCDS?

Coil packs were recently changed by Audi when they recalled the coil packs, I had a similar prob with my old tdi a4, that was maf sensor, gonna try that first.

Unplug MAF and retry?

You got fuel in it. Sounds like its being starved of fuel

i unplugged maf and car ran fine so think that solves that problem, thanks for advice! times like this this forum is gold dust!
