Gates cam timing belt

hi guys,
my S3 is due for a timing belt change and I was wondering what you opinions would be on the Gates ones.
has anyone used them? or should I go OEM to be on the safe side.

Contitech cambelt kit gets my vote, ran them on all my VAGS, always get good reviews....

I use gates only cause my dad swears by them, and its all my local motor factor will supply

Use Gates all the time at work and never had any problems. As said they're OEM on lots of cars.

I'm using a Gates cambelt on my S3. They make the OEM belts, and stick the VAG logos on them so VAG can sell them at a hiked up price!
