Launch control on Diesel

Not that anyone is interested but I tried it and it works.

I'm off to buy some new front tyres now.

My old 05 DSG didn't have this!

All mine used to do when i did the procedure above is try and move forward when i had my foot on the brake pedal.

Works a treat on my 57 plate tdi s-tronic :) Maybe this feature was introduced when Audi renamed the gearbox from DSG to S-Tronic in late 06?

i have a 2007 S-tronic 170bhp and it has this function hate the 0.5sec-1sec lag though

1) turn the ESP off
2) Put Car in Sport
3) Foot on the break all the way down
4) Accelerator flat down it will stick at 2000rpm
5) let go of the brake and away you go

Bear in mind the car HAS to be warm the engine and transmission otherwise it will not work

You got it right the 2nd time!

Like 'curb' when it should be 'kerb'.:(

tried this tonight on mine and yes it works and is awesome haha, however would this not cause damage to the dsg clutches?

Thought so , am I right in thinking the dsg system has a regular clutch and flywheel like the manual's I ask this as would performance clutches and flywheels for the 2.0 tdi fit the dsg ?

No, the DSG has either 6 or 7 plates running in oil, like a motorbike.

what about the flywheel? do they run a duel mass? is there a way to uprate the clutch on dsg or not?
also i see ur from cleveland where abouts mate as so am i?
