porsches are very very expensive when things go wrong 9/10 engine out to fix things pita.
rx7 very under rated car the engine rebuild can be done once as long as you change the apex seals for carbon ones around £800 and should last a good long time.
due to beeing rotary you have the excuse the rag it every now and then to make sure it all flowing fine.
wont bore you as drifting can take years to master which will keep you occupied
I really like the look of it, but it's so gutless. I really couldn't live with a car with such little torque. Feels so cheap in comparison to any german cars. It does drift nicely though
Amazing fun in the wet, fast in a straight line, but still an old mans car really if i'm honest. They're a comfortable cruiser, not so capable down the twisties.
Thats a a bit of a fallacy really, especially the 911, the engine is very accessible and most jobs can be done with the engine in situ, plus if the engine does need to come out it's probably the easiest car i've know to take an engine out of.
Boxsters can be more of a pain because the engine is mid-mounted and not so accessible in some cases, and the engine out is a pain on those.
Either way, i'd say it would be cheaper to run either of those cars than a B7 RS4.
