Excuse my dumbassness as for some reason I was thinking exhaust mani not intake mani... the intake is easier, if you have the bits already then fair enough... Like I said, I have no personal experience of al lot of this kit but I research a lot as I have an interest and I am careful what I spend my cash on (most of the time anyway). I can't see the point in spending loads on stuff that does nothing and can't be seen and wouldn't like to think that other people should without at least having some information in front of them to make thier own mind up.
I would really like to go BT but have other things that I need to spend the money on.... paint work first for me as the previous owner did a ***** job on my passenger side sadly
As for tips, set yourself aside a day or so with access to another car and an open motor factors/dealer just in case you need to get a dipstick tube or gasket that you didn't think you would need. Seems to be the way of doing any little job on an S3 tbh....
