If I cover my headlights with smoked laminX - will this reduce the brightness of my headlights.

I have aftermarket HID's and fitted them for their brightness, not their pose factor. But I don't want to lose that level of brightness.

Anyone who has them fitted, can they let me know
Cheers, Matt

yes, it will reduce the brightness of the lights slightly.

not that much though, as long as you aren't doing a really dark tint.

Cool. Looks like Gunsmoke is OTT so light tint is the way to go. Shame LAmin-X have stopped making it for the moment ....

I had gunsmoke, light output was fine in the summer night but bad on winter nights so I took them off. was going to put them back on but now I kinda like the look without them

I have the light smoke and I haven't noticed any difference in output tbh, that's with 8000k hid's. However I'm thinking of removing mine due to it shrinking slightly probable due to the sun?

I did mine on my old b5 and they where fine with Xenons beadlights 4300k bulbs.
