Ambient Light Module

I'm looking to buy one of the audi ambient light modules part number: 8E0919063A

Is an Audi dealer the only place to get one? I phoned mine and they need to order one. I can just sense it taking ages to arrive.

Edit, I ordered mine on Saturday, said I was in no rush, will be here on Weds at the latest. I think if you order before 2, it should be next day

I've done this on my S3 and it's pretty subtle. You will need to turn up your interior lights on the little wheel by the headlight switch as the ambient light runs off that. You can only really notice it when driving down pitch black roads with no street lights.

Are these the lights that shine down on the gearstick?Are they red in keeping with everything else?

yup very OEM......not too bright, will light the gear stick and the vents

honestly mate its sooooo subtle that even if I took a picture you wouldn't notice the difference. Do the mod as it only costs about £15 and you'll see what I mean.
