Brake Question

I've noticed this week when starting the car up first thing that my brakes feel really dead the first time you use them. Putting a lot of effort into braking and not a lot happening. But after that initial OMG it's not going to stop moment everything is fine brakes back to normal. Was thinking it may be sticking calipers, car is an 07 1.9tdi with 39k on it I'm guessing it could still have the original pads and discs on it, any opinions?

sounds like the brakes are sticking have someone look over them for you if you cant do it yourself

Does it do it everytime you start the car? or just first thing in the morning?

It's only first thing after the car has been sitting overnight. It's fine for the rest of the day.

I had this just yesterday morning, felt like I had no servo assistance, but am waiting for repeat occurrences for more of an idea.
