True, but it never runs for long.WMI could play a part as well.
What EGT's are you hitting? Wondering how it compares to mine. I can't actually remember the group I need to log, is it 112?
Hi Antwan....
AMD can do a similar system for me,but it's really the diameter of the current system that's the big problem at 70mm.
I've been recommended a 90mm system instead.
I'll certainly take a look.
The cut out dumps the exhaust at the bottom of the down pipe, unless you mean you need a 90mm downpipe
Its for "off road use only" of course.....
The big horse power guys stateside swear by them, i.e. they can run on the street with modest boost through the (quietish) exhaust system, then head to the track, open up the cut out and unleash the power
I guess it wasn't cheap, but I was fed up having the top end cleaned out,and a conventional catch can won't catch it all.
The downside to this system is emptying the can on a regular basis, and a couple of other issues over fitting, which meant the carbon filter was relocated,to make way for the can.
It also smells a bit of hot oil after a hard run....
Alex, Where did you relocate coal canister? Inside bumper? I'm making custom OCC, I need big like this and this is the only place where it could sit!
You mentioned TTRS LPFP - I have one from RS3, it works perfect with REVO 4 software, no adjustment was needed. Few more kilometers with rebuilt engine and I'll tell you if it's good for engine running on 2 bar boost
Hm, left as english passengers side or drivers side?
That's why I asked this question because that side is nearer than left sideLol.
Ok English passengers side.
Would be possible no doubt to use the other side if more appropriate.

look at all of the damper settings....way too soft.
The front's now been wound up 3 notches, and the rear by 2 notches, leaving the rebound damping set as it was.
Too soft for track or too soft for 'fast road'?
I'd say both.
The tyres had been changed and it took me a bit of time to twig that the reason it was all over the place was the sidewalls on the Supersports are much softer than the R888s,plus the initial compression settings were too soft in the first place.
I think the R888s just masked that being stiffer, and grippier.
What we did yesterday was just enough to make it more responsive and handle better, but it does need more work when I've got enough time,to get it sorted out,and then to have a baseline setup for both types of tyre.
Steering feels a lot lighter now,and body roll is less, with better turn-in.
The rebound damping seems OK.
Thank you...
I guess what I'm getting at and although one man's comfort is another's loose suspension but let's say compared to stock how comfortable (in terms of stiffness) is your car?
Is it a daily driver or something you can only use as a weekend car?
Fair enough I think I interpret that as 'it's not comfortable' lmao... I don't know where you live but I'm in West Yorkshire and even with just eibach pro kit springs sometimes our cr4ppy B roads I don't like it lol
If I were prime minister road tax would be ring fenced for roads only. And the M1 would be 6 lanes in each direction with a 3/3 split with express and collector system like Canada. The national speed limit for cars would be 90 mph too.
Sorry to rant on your topic lol. End of rant
For sure.....if you stiffen things up to the point where the car begins to skip over bumps, then you've gone too far,but also suspension travel and damping play a big part. There definitely is a line though between stiffer suspension and bad road holding.... i seriously think that the B14s are quite stiff but manageable but if im going on a back road where its uneven surfaces, then i reckon id be slower than on a softer spring set up! The car definitely feels like she may wana skip out a bit if im putting my foot down when there's pot holes and uneven surfaces!
On a flat road or a track, then the B14s would be great round corners and a lot better than softer suspension set ups!
I'm stuck with the B14s standard setup lol
At least I know I can't keep fiddling with it or else I'd be always thinking what set up was best and keep thinking about having it changed every 5 mins lol
I've got V3s on mine and they came pre-set at mid settings but I'm polybushed and couldn't live with the harsh ride so I ended up going two clicks from full soft allround.
It's made the drive and comfort much more compliant.
