I think there may have been an option for fitting the floor higher to allow for the spare wheel. Mine just got a fixed setting so that's of no help, sorry.

As part of the service today the car had it's brake fluid changed as it was 2 years old. Am I missing something here? I would expect the fluid to have been topped up to the MAX mark not left way down in the resevoir. I almost certain it was just below the may before it went in.

I had an SLK 300 with a fluffy bit on a drivebelt. from new. It was reportedly hard to access to replace. MB sent out a diminutive lady mechanic. She changed the belt easily as her little tiny hands could get to the belt route.
