Had to buy a more economical car due to the amount of miles i do these days. So not sure what to do with my b7 now its about to go in for MOT and im confident it will pass without any problems but not sure if i should part it out or try and sell. The only problem is it has 171k miles so im...
Tried the new comfort module still not working though. If I unplug the wire that goes into the locking mechanism the DIS says the boot is closed (when it’s open) and if I plug it back in it says it’s open as it is. So that means the wire going into it is fine as it knows when the boot is closed...
Hi guys my boot won’t open the only way to do it is manually by climbing in the boot and pulling on the release latch.
So far I’ve change the handle on the outside and the actual latch its self but even so after that when you unlock the car nothing happens to the latch (it doesn’t move) and...
I did a first scan and cleared everything then turned car off and back on again then did another scan and this is what was left of them. Do you reckon i should go on a drive first and see what comes up after it?

Thats my average on my 2.0tfsi currently weighing up my options too as £2600 a year in fuel is just too much for me at the moment in time
Only thing i can suggest mate is plug it into a car that it can communicate with and the just do it that way? maybe someone local on the forum has a sat nav as standard and you can plug yours into their car to code the aux in. Where are you located?
I need new front pads for the front any suggestions as euro car parts has like 4 different sizes for front. if someone could link me to the ones i need i would appreciate it.
My reg is: GV57UMG

i had same code for 5 month i changed the n80 valve which is a £20 part and it hasnt come on in 2 weeks so far.... not saying it will fix it for you but so far it has fixed it for me as the code would have normally come back on by now
Yeah both genuine parts i presume as they were done at my local Audi specialist. P0171 for the check engine light and p2187 which doesn't bring engine light on. I think the new N80 valve may have fixed the p0171 issue but ive only done 40 miles since fitting it so will have to wait and see
Both replaced about 9-8 months ago. Reckon one of them could of gone again? Would make sense if pcv has gone with this engine light I get now and again for a air leak. Also if engine is running it's really hard to remove oil cap it has a lot of suction holding it back (not sure if that's related...
Considering selling my B7 as im doing too many miles for work and such these days and it only gets 30mpg on motorways and its turning out to not be viable anymore. So it looks like im going to have to get a oil burner maybe a A3 sportback 1.9TDI.
