Tried fitting a new latch on my armrest lid only to find out the hook which you attach the metal clip of the latch to is broken. So in need of a new lid. Can anybody provide a link to a cloth (not leather) one? Thanks.

Can' help I'm afraid...
But where did You get the new latch from?! Cheers

Ebay simples

Anyone know where to purchase new complete lid, my hinge has broken off. Seems to be alot of A4 but not shorter A3 ones complete without paying an arm and a leg

Have a search on gumtree or check out salvage yards where you could easily end up with a whole armrest rather than a lid .

I got a complete second hand one from a breaker on a well known auction site for £27.50 delivered, it was in perfect condition and was very easy to swap, just take out the rear ashtray module to access the single bolt, lift out the old one and pop in the new, 5 minutes tops.

I might, but other auction sites are available.......I would have preferred to have found an aftermarket blanking kit though, these armrests are daft IMO, they just get in the way of the handbrake, as soon as I got this car it reminded me of my 98 mk4 golf which had a similar arrangement, I just leave it tipped back out of the way which usually means it rattles.

Any purpose of not disclosing which auction site? Just curious lol

You ever thought off just covering up where the armrest slots into , then you could disregard the armrest all together .

Thought this would help because I followed the video and it was better then other videos encourage you to bend the hinges in and risking you to snap the hinges!
I was searching ages for a tutorial video and I think this covers everything.
