Hi there guys, I'm getting fed up of the washer jets on my 2007 A3 so does anyone here know where I can get fine spray nozzles for it. I've seen the A6 are a similar size, but are any VAG compatible.
Many thanks & happy Xmas.

We had a 2015 A6 come into work with front end damage so I had the washer jets and tried them in my 2007 S3 and they fit perfect and it’s a fine mist pattern (way better than my old 3 way ones)

Does anyone know if the part numbers stated in this thread are still the most up to date ones and the correct one to fit a 8P s-Line 3dr? And will I need the shims to go with them?

TIA

Checked the part numbers a few days ago then ordered these £6 delivered from China (I made a best offer)

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/112805716415

shouldnt need the shims on a facelift. They should hopefully be here end of next week China post is pretty quick at the moment

Pretty sure they will fit but those aren't heated so maybe they'll throw a canbus error? Also guess it'll be worse in winter?

Never had heated washer jets before I bought this car though so not had the use of them in winter yet so no idea if they make a noticeable difference

Not all 8ps have heated jets, and according to elsawin its the post 08 models that have the connector in the jets, the pre 08s have the connector by the washer reservoir.

Let us know how those jets work out, I've been eyeing them up but found the oem versions too much money. If they're cool for 6 quid, it'd be rude not to order them

Yeah popped one of the original ones out today to see how easy they are to fit, and it's really really easy, so as soon as they arrive I'll fit them and report back

You got them fitted yet? The ones I ordered didn’t fit and weren’t a fan, just a single jet. Sent them back this morning for a refund. Going to order the same as you but want to wait for your opinion first

Not arrived as yet, delivery from China taking longer than I expected hopefully here this week and I can try fitting them

Just found your thread, hopefully the issue you had with the clips was in part due to the different fitting on the pre facelift

Mine arrived yesterday and fitted them last night. Considering I did it my phone light I managed to get the elevation of the jet spot on. Just what I was after!!

Was it the ones in your link you ordered plus where they simple enough to fit . I have facelift S3
Yeah those ones I made a best offer at £6 which the seller accepted took around 2-3 weeks to arrive, think there's UK sellers for a bit more money but wasn't in a rush.

For facelift 8p it's a straight swap

I ordered the same ones, took about 2 weeks to be delivered. I also offered £6 for them. Took 30seconds to physically fit then 2 mins of fiddling to get the aim right

Haha be class if you get em even cheaper, I'm Yorkshire English so may be a bit upset if I find out if overpaid :D

Quality wise, not much I can say to be honest didn't look in that much detail before I fitted, from the top side they look OEM, underneath they were lacking the branding markings but don't think I would know they were aftermarket if I'd not just bought them cheap from China, and yeah they do have the heater connections.

i ordered these
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2PC...925.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.51f64c4dmvNTdv

for £8.14, although price seems to have gone up to £9.55. should be here soon as theyve left china a few days ago.

interesting thing about them, and the reason i ordered is that they are marked and branded as 2KD955986, which if you type into etka is a part number for the washers on chinese market golf/passat/models ive never heard of.

also in the feedback section, users have uploaded photos showing that the vw logo is present on the underside, so they might be chinese model oem parts.....or just higher tier copies.

It really does show that you pay extra for a manufacturers emblem .:thumbs up:

reviews for them say they look the same as oem, again meaning that either they are genuine chinese OEM washers, or higher grade aftermarket than the ones listed above.
for the sake of £2 extra over the one mentioned in this thread, its worth it for the vw emblem alone

But would that stretch to buying OEM parts like alloys , bumpers , injectors , etc from the same link if it had thd VW emblem on them ?

Oh come on.....

You'd take the VW centre caps off the alloys and put Audi ones in there :p

Just been and checked mine and its got the same markings, guess there's a good chance they even came off the same production line, only difference is with mine they used a hot tool to melt over the VW logo probably what they do for all parts that are sold outside China or on marketplaces that are less fake friendly than Aliexpress.

Didn't notice the space for the VW logo when I fitted but after seeing yours and checking its clear that the VW logo used to be there when the parts were pressed/moulded

yeah they look identical on the back other than the vw logo. part numbers even the same. strange why theyd remove it though, even on aliexpress they dont allow logos, if you check any lisiting they cover the logos up, only get to see them in the customer feedback.

My guess would be that the Ali seller has stock meant for the Chinese market where they don't care about trademark infringement and the eBay seller has the "modified" stock for the global market.

There is a possibility these are actually from an OEM producing factory. There is also the other possibility that they are coming from a factory that did at some point have a VAG contract to produce these parts. It's not unknown for Chinese companies upon losing a contract to breach their trade agreements and continue producing the product and selling it "out of the back door" as a grey market item. Remember even in this case it doesn't actually make the parts OEM as one thing you get from official VAG stuff is the QC processes and of course, there would be a reason they lost the contract in the first place which if not the price is likely also QC related.... Or they could just be fakes!

I don't actually care either way as they work perfectly and were dirt cheap :D

Whatever the story is with these, and its definitely an intesting one, Im glad they work and are good quality for the price. Paying 26 quid from audi/vw never sat well with me.

Only downside is now I'm running out of cheap mods to do :blownose:

Ordered a set. Cheers @samisnake.
Also tempted by the dash cam you posted about - are you happy with the cam so far?

Camera is so good I forget its there. Friend of mine ordered one for his polo after seeing it. Not really a dashcam kinda person, but as its a shared car and with the standard of driving in London, you know how it is.

Anyway if you do get one, make sure you get a decent sd card. Ideally you want an sd card meant for dashcam. Problem with them is that they are about double the price. I ended up getting a Toshiba exceria 32gb. They advertise it for use with go pros etc and it gets good reviews with dashcam users so fingers crossed it holds up.
