Convenience windows no longer working

Hi all,

With it being hot the last few days ive been trying to open windows from keyfob to release the heat however it no longer seems to be working. This worked about a month ago, ive had the car from new and never had a problem. its all enabled in menus etc.

ive read about a reset procedure on the windows but cant find a correct method. any help?

It happened on my A3 last night. I tried it once from the inside with the window switches then came out and tried with the fob. Working fine now. The only way that I know of to 'reset' it is via Carista or VCDS by deactivating/activating it.

I thought there used to be a process for re-setting by holding the switches with the key in the ignition, or something along those lines.

If one touch isnt working then, that inturn affects convenience, then hold the switch until all the way down, let go, then hold until all the way up, listen for a click or wait 5 seconds, then retest one touch, if all windows one touch then test convenience.
 
One touch has never been an issue. I tried the method outlined above and still not working. Will try again after just to double check. Any other ideas?
 
Turn ignition on

All the way down, press 5 times down, hold it for 3sec at 5th time.

All the way up, pull 5 times up hold it for 3sec at 5th time.

Do it for all the windows.

My S3 forgot how to do one-touch and down on the key. I went into measuring blocks on VCDS and saw the bits saying up, down, end point learnt. Did it for both doors and the key remote worked again. one-touch worked again afterwards. If that's the reprogramming method in VCDS I found it by mistake haha
 
It’s now working again after using the latest method above from rj-8v
