I emailed my dealer. He doesn’t know about it.

I need details to give him. It’s not a secret. Where did that photo come from? PM if you prefer but if it’s something they are adding then no secret.

It came from somebody in an Audi Centre, will email him now to see if I can find out more.
 
I need this info too please if you could - due to pay in the next few days so if I can save a few hundred quid that would be nice.

I've just spoken to two different people at Audi UK who are not aware of this package being available for the RS3 and cannot find any mention of it on their system. Also checked with 5 different group dealers who said the same, which makes the screenshot showing the "assumed" package, mystifying??

Would be nice to save a further £500, but sadly I think this is a wild goose chase..........

It may be a case of it’s planned for the future, but not now. Perhaps a change for next years model. I very much doubt anyone in the order process now will be able to take advantage of it.

You maybe right. Hopefully Audinutta will be able to shed light on this once he's received a reply back from his contact.

Right, so it was distributed with a compilation of other various product enhancements. Dealers can find the update on the Audi Hub, it is strictly for internal use only because it’s on their internal communication site.
 
Thanks for the update. I will investigate this further with my dealer, but I can imagine (at least in my case) them saying they have already applied a £500 discount by combining each of the 3 options I selected individually and I can't complain really as the discount I've received is already far beyond what most others have received.
 
My dealer says he can’t find it on the hub and it’s not showing on the ordering system.

He asked where exactly it is?!

Right, so we found it on the Audi Hub but with great difficulty. There is an update for MY18 cars and it’s on there, it will apply to cars from WK45 on.

I will have a go at my dealer on this one - I have ordered the exhaust and mag ride but not TPMS - should be able to get it tossed in gratis at least? My build is well into next year.
 
This will hopefully be my plan too... I’ve gone for the sports exhaust but so far not the other two options in the pack. But if they are going to be £700 extra for them I’ll be adding them in as well

You will be able to sort it with no issue, after week45 amend your build with the package

What we are saying then is that we need to wait until week 45 (6th November) to make the change, and no doubt it isn’t on the Configurator yet as its too soon. I suspect that I will have to just get back to my dealer in a month to make the change.

Any other RS3 changes? @AudiNutta

I see no harm in laying into them now - the package already exists in the background.
 
I already had sports exhaust and magnetic ride selected but didn’t have tpms selected, but now on the youraudi tracker tpms is showing as a chosen option?

Tell them to change it as soon as they can, but it won’t go live until WK45 on the production line.

Nothing that we noticed no.

The package is in the latest RS3 Brochure released on 1st October internally.

If anyone doesn't want to wait that long for an RS3 saloon and doesn't mind an ex-demo, this one from Northampton Audi seems a good price for the spec. I wouldn't recommend the dealer though, I got my S3 from there and they ignored me after the sale when I questioned the lack of Audi Beam and Subwoofer controls/sound settings resetting but I asked for a video of this car just to see how it looks and the same salesman now remembers me again.......

Nice steer but the sports exhaust is a must, mag and ss seats for me as well.

Haha nah I'm just not going to reply. He said it in the video that I bought the S3 off him and he remembers I mentioned the RS3 and pointed out the differences (not well).

no issues from Watford Audi on deleting the exhaust and mag ride and then ticking the Sport Pack option -

'Depending when the Spot pack goes live, it shouldn’t be a problem as long as it has been amended before it goes into build which is estimated January.

@AudiNutta just checked how many times you've posted and it's only 3,702 times. Thought it would have been a lot more! ;)

My dealer hasn't confirmed or denied anything but did say it may be lumped in with the removal of the S3 3door update, though until it's on the configurator internally he won't confirm anything, but has said that "IF" it exists and appears around BW45, we'll amend my order. He also informed me that I now have a build week, it's 51. I don't intend to take the car until March, but it is nice to know I now have a slot in Jan.

When did you order your car mate?
 
I really hope they add Navarra blue into the RS3 before my build date as its on pretty much all other RS model including the new RS4 but missing from the RS3.
 
Has anyone else noticed that the picture on the configurator shows a metal foot rest which match the pedals? I’ve never seen this on any though in the uk. Sorry if this has been discussed before - I haven’t seen mention of it.
